WHAT INFORMATION WE HOLD ABOUT YOU
Personal information (known as “personal data” in UK GDPR), means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It doesn’t include data where the means of identification has been removed (anonymous data). The type of personal data we hold will depend upon the nature of our dealings with you and the lawful reason we are holding your personal information.
As a client of ours, this will include:
- Personal contact details (name, address, telephone number, personal email addresses)
- Your financial details (as necessary to manage and enable fees and payment)
- Your business details (if this is necessary for the work we are undertaking on your behalf)
HOW YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS COLLECTED
We collect your personal data when you email or write to us and when we meet to discuss your matter, and on any other occasion it is necessary for the duration of our dealings. Our relationship with you, as our client, is governed by a contract and it is in order to fulfil that contract that we hold and use your personal data. If, as a client, you wish to receive details of other services we offer that might be of interest to you (“Marketing”), we will ask for your consent to do this.
HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We will only use your personal data to fulfil the terms of our contract with you, and to provide you with marketing information if you have given your consent for this. If you are a client, this means we will share your personal data with other organisations and people as necessary to help us fulfil our contract with you.
MARKETING
We would like to send you information from time to time about events and services we offer which we think may be of interests to you. As stated above, we will only send you this information if you consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
CHANGE OF PURPOSE
We will only use your personal data for the purposes for which we collected it unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. If we need to use your personal information for a different unrelated purpose, we will notify you and will explain the legal basis which allows us to do so. Where it is required or permitted by law, we may process your personal data without your knowledge or consent.
HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA FOR
We will only keep your data for as long as is necessary. This means we will keep it for the duration of the contract between us and thereafter for as long as is necessary as a record of the transaction in the event of any future issues or queries.
INFORMING US OF CHANGES
It is important that the personal data we hold is accurate and up to date. Please keep us informed of any changes to your personal information.
YOUR RIGHTS UNDER GUIDELINES FOR DATA PROTECTION REGULATIONS (UK GDPR)
The following lists your rights under UK GDPR. Please note there may be specific occasions where we are unable to accede to a request by you to exercise a particular right due to there being a legal exemption in place.

CONTACT FORMS AND EMAIL LINKS
Should you choose to contact us using the contact form on our Contact us page none of the data that you supply will be stored by this website or passed to / be processed by any of the third party data processors. Instead the data will be collated into an email and sent to us over the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). Our own SMTP servers are protected by TLS (sometimes known as SSL) meaning that the email content is encrypted using SHA-2, 256-bit cryptography before being sent across the internet. The email content is then decrypted by our local computers and devices. However, not all mail servers are secured in such a way. Therefore, we would suggest that you always consider email as an insecure medium and not include personal, confidential or otherwise sensitive information within an email.
SITE VISITATION TRACKING
Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction. We use this data to determine the number of people using our site, to better understand how they find and use our web pages and to see their journey through the website. Although GA records data such as your geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system, none of this information personally identifies you to us. GA also records your computer’s IP address which could be used to personally identify you but Google do not grant us access to this. We consider Google to be a third party data processor. GA makes use of cookies, details of which can be found on Google’s developer guides. FYI our website uses the analytics.js implementation of GA. Disabling cookies on your internet browser will stop GA from tracking any part of your visit to pages within this website. In addition to Google Analytics, this website may collect information (already held in the public domain) attributed to the IP address of the computer or device that is being used to access it.
WEB BROWSER COOKIES
Our Site may use “cookies” to enhance User experience. User’s web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly.

We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
